Really fun stuff and I see tons of possibilities now. :) I haven’t done something like this in a year. Doing it for myself feels great.
More! :DD

More! :DD
The start of round two, haha.
I wanted to bring out my watercolors, and I tried it with some brush pen. I really like the result. I think it’s pretty cool with the graphic 2D shapes. But I’m most proud of the ‘pillows’ cut from a barley tea bag wrapper. It’s from the pile of stuff that I want to scrapbook. XD I finally found a use for all that stuff.
New, new, now! lol
Here are the last three pages of my winter sketchbook. This blog is finally complete, haha.
I ended my sketchbook where I started, but I’m not quite sure if it’s better, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
But this sketchbook isn’t completely filled. I’ll find time this summer to fill it up, and if you wanna check everything I’ve been up to/ will do, it will be here:

Thank you for keeping up and following. :)
Days 40 & 41:
TURNED IN, SON!
I drew on three more pages, but I didn’t have time to scan them in ‘cause I was still working on it up until I turned it in, haha. Instead of scans, I have pictures of when my friends and I turning in our sketchbooks. :D
When I turned it in, I had 81 pages total, but when I get it back, I’ll be ready to finish it. :) Stay tuned.
Days 38 & 39:
Had some block on a couple of pages, and got “precious” on a drawing, haha. But I do find myself wanting to draw more people in San Jose. XD So much diversity.
The last page is from my first figure painting session. Pretty tough, but a new experience. :) The only thing is that I stiffen up during longer drawings, something I get to work on.
Lastly, it’s due tomorrow, so I wont give up until the end, but I gotta push it, PUSH IT! hahaha XD
Day 37:
I feel so lucky to have so much support. :) It’s the final stretch, and that’s exactly how I felt, being stretched to get to my goal of 100 pages. But I got some more motivation today. My game plan until Friday is to stick to what I love to do.
3 Days!
Day 36:
Got back into San Jose today and got to hang out with a friend today. :) I had a creative block earlier and was out of it for a while. But when I got back, I was totally down to finish the pages I started.
4 Days!
Day 34 & 35:
Had an amazing time playing with my bro’s city league bball team on Friday. It was late in the day, but the sky was a deep blue-violet. I couldn’t see the hoop, but I still made three free-throws in a row. I was the oldest there, but I still made a new friend. :)
Still sketchin’ and painting. ^^
Day 33:
First time I’ve done five pages in one day in a while. The first page I did was ridiculous. Didn’t like it the first time I went through the page, so I fixed it up a little later. I’m not quite done with the next couple of pages with the truck. It moved while I was painting it, haha. Also, it took me a little while to get warmed up, which kinda sucked, and I think it followed my next couple of pages. I just ended up taking everything home and painted over everything. I reached my goal for today, so now I know I can do it, haha.
Also! The expected due date for this sketchbook was the 23rd, but now it’s officially due next Friday, the 20th. Still shooting for that 100, but now I think I’ll get close, if not completed.
Day 32:
It’s crunch time, so I gotta pick up the pace.
Got my wisdom tooth pulled today and while waiting for my mouth to numb, I started sketching. My dentist noticed me drawing and was interested in my sketchbook. He looked through it and showed it to his daughter who is also a dentist and I heard her say “wow, this is amazing.” Really nice moral boost. Went to the dentist to get my tooth pulled, came out with some motivation. :)
Days 29, 30 & 31:
Feeling like I’m slacking. Went through some creative blocks, but definitely still drawing. Today, I went out to draw some telephone poles, and the one on the far right is probably one of the drawings in my sketchbook which I tried to pay close attention to detail and negative shapes. Sounds bad when I’m more than half way though, haha.
Still aiming for 100 and I have less than two weeks to go. I’m gonna do it though. :)
Days 26, 27 & 28:
It feels like I’ve been gone for a week, but it’s only been three days, haha. In that time I drew some trees, finished my little story, redeemed my beach painting skills, and didn’t put color on a page for once, haha. Tons of fun. ^^
Also, I’ve almost hit 50 pages, which is the minimum that I have to turn in. :) Excited to see what comes up next.
Day 25:
Another page from the little story I’m making up in my sketchbook. :)
Also while I was drawing at a park yesterday, a man came up to me and asked to see my sketchbook. He was really nice and gave kind comments. While going through my sketchbook, he said he was so inspired that he wanted to get to the page that I was working on. That was really cool. ^^
